Regarding the paint, if your house wasn't custom built, see if you can find out what builder did the house. Usually they have a standard color they use for all their homes and should be able to either give you a sample or tell you the name and brand of the color so you can get more.<br /><br />Since you are matching a color, I highly recommend writing the formula on top of the can down and keeping that in the records you keep with your house stuff. That way if you run out of the paint again, you'll know what to buy. This is a BIG help if the store discontinues a color. If they don't have the formula in their computer, but you have it written down, they know to use x base with y drops of blue and z drops of yellow, etc. to custom make your color. This is much more precise than color matching from a wall or something as paint can change color over time.
