I Did It………

 and survived!

My dirty little secret is out! It took about 45min and several numbing shots but I can now cross “Get Tooth Pulled” off my list. I had visions of making a run for it before it was too late but I stuck it out and put on my big girl pants. So happy I did! I may not be saying that in an hour or so when the pain starts kicking in but my dentist gave me some pills to help with that. I have a few stitches and have been put on a liquid diet for a couple of days but other than that I’m all good. If you’re like me and have a fear of going to the dentist don’t let that get in the way of taking care of your teeth. You only get 1 set and if I faced my fear so can you!!!
Lots of crazy things going on in the Kent/Kendra house this week. Hope to be back later to share. For now I have tomatoes basil soup, pain meds, and a movie waiting for me.

Dentist :(

I have a date with the devil today. Okay not the devil but the dentist, pretty close right? I’m the biggest baby when it comes to dental work. I hate going to the dentist! I hate it so much that I’ve put something off for far too long and now need to have a tooth pulled. I’ve never had an adult tooth pulled so I’m pretty freaked out about it. This is my second attempt to get this bad boy knocked out. At my last appointment I broke out in hives and started laughing like a hyena. The dentist who is as sweet as pie told me he wanted to give me more time and TLC so I made another appointment. Said appointment is today at 1:30!So if you see this before then please send soothing thoughts my way…….I’m going to need them!
