This was our 2011 Christmas card. We used Mr. Tripod to take the photo. Someday Kent will let me hire a photographer but as of now he thinks that’s just silly since we know a photographer that will take them for free, me. You should have seen me trying to setup the one below on the back of our card. Tiptoeing down a shaky pier trying not to knock my camera into the lake while getting into place and adjusted before the timer went off…..not fun!

I’ve been buying mediums lately and it’s freaking my freak out! I used to wear an XL! When I buy something that’s a medium I usually tell myself “Oh they’re probably just making clothes bigger now.”
Why in the world do we do that to ourselves? The fact is I’m working really hard and loosing weight but for some reason my mind hasn't caught onto that yet.

Side Note: I’ve received a few comments and e-mails from people wanting me to tell my weight loss story. I’m still in the mist of my journey but I am going down the right path! I have tons to talk about on this topic so I need to decide how I want to lay it out. Wanted you to know it’s in the works and will be coming soon!

Happy 1st Day of February

 

 

 

Happy 1st day of February!
We have yet to have a winter in Texas and yes I am complaining! It is winter and all but it feels like fall. Don’t get me wrong I love the fall but winter rates right up there as one of my favorite seasons and Dallas is totally getting the shaft. I have yet to use a big thick jacket, wear gloves, or get giddy over a snow day. We’re getting close to spring so it would be nice if we at least had 1 week of wintery weather. I’ll keep hoping and being jealous of all these beautiful snow pictures and blog post I’ve been seeing!

 

I had a client reschedule last weekend sooooo I had little Abby jump in front of the camera and take advantage of setup I put together. Pink is totally her color!

Anyone want to take a stab at who she’s looking at with those big brown eyes? I’m sure you know!

 

The only way I could get her to look in my direction was when I shouted the magic word……

FROSTY!!!!!!

Yes, she is obsessed with Wendy’s Frosty.
Don’t ask how this infatuation started.

If you’re not Kent and you want her to be your friend all you need to do is give her a tiny, tiny taste and she will love you forever or at least as long as you have a frosty in your hand.
