I took this during a walk in the countryside with my mom and my hubby (Kent) last weekend. This sight made my stop in my tracks…..which happens often especially when I have my camera in hand. My walking buddies continued their walk while I got lost in my own little world.
A world that I love.
A world that calms me.
A world that makes me forget about all the craziness going on in my life.
A world that’s just me, my camera, and beauty.
This moment made me think of my favorite quote…….
“If the sight of the blue skies fills you with joy, if a blade of grass springing up in the fields has power to move you, if the simple things in nature have a message you understand, Rejoice, for your soul is alive.”
- Eleanora Duse
I would say my soul is alive and kicking!
What about you?

Oh my goodness Kendra...I have been reading back on your blog, because I have not received updates from you on my blogroll. DARN BLOGGER! Your brother..oh my!! Thank goodness he is okay. I had a similar scare. I have what I thought was a bug bite on my back that become so swollen and made me sicker than I have ever been in my life. By the time I was driven to the Dr. by my mother who insisted, I had what they called a terrible staph (MRSA) infection in my back that they had to open, and irrigate, then pack with wicking that had to I had to go back daily to have removed and repacked. I was lucky, in that I didn't have to go to hospital, but one more day and I would have been. WE need to be more vigilant in listening to our bodies when things are not right. Thankfully your brother is going to be okay!!!
