Quick and Cheap Photo Gallery

This little project takes places in my studio!
The plan is to eventually order canvases for the walls BUT we have a problem.
I’m SUPER indecisive when it comes to deciding on something I’m going to be locked into for awhile.  You should see me trying to pick out a yearly planner or paint color……….oh man it’s bad!
I have tons of favorite images which changes daily. How in the world am I supposed to pick a small handful stick with them?
This is a decision that will take some time and these walls needed a little love while Mrs. Indecisive over here makes up her mind! The quick  yet temporary  fix?

It’s exactly what the title says!

Quick: It took me 30 minutes to put this together! I hate measuring things!

Nope this ADD gal does not have the attention span to measure everything thing out perfectly which drives the hubby nuts!

I just eyeballed it! Not prefect but eh it works!

Cheap: I printed a few of my favorite images. Ran to Walmart and bought mini clothes pins and twine which you can find in their craft section. 

Place a little nail at the end of each section and twist the twine around the nail head until it’s secure. Get your clothes pins and go to town!

There ya have it! The perfect fix for the indecisive girl!

Another great thing about this project is that it’s super versatile!

It’s so easy to change the photos out. This would be great for Instagram photos and random mementos!

This big blank wall above the changing table screams “AWESOME GALLERY WALL USE ME” but until I make up my mind this will do!

Because we all love a little behind the scenes shot here’s some of my prop stash.
Notice the key word “some”.

Yeah there are 2 other shelves on the other side of these and a garage full of stuff!

Ummm and no I'm not preggers silly!

It’s Done and Some Instafriday Love

HI HI HI HI!!!!!

I’ve miss you like TONS!

If you follow me on fb you’ve heard all about my new blog design and even saw a few sneak peeks. Well let me tell ya it’s been a process but I couldn't be happier with the outcome!
Smitten Blog Design did a fantastic job! Brooke was my designer and why I’m sure she’s happy to be done with me I ‘m smitten (get it) with her work! It’s my favorite design yet!

That could be because this time…..
-I actually told them my exact vision. 
-I didn't feel guilty to tell them if didn’t like something or I wanted to add something. I always felt bad to do that in the past but man I’m paying for it so why shouldn’t I love it!
-I made sure everything was just like I wanted and as the package said it would be! I let things slide in the past because I felt bad to keep coming back with changes. 
-I was tried of paying for a blog design I didn’t love so I decided to get with it this time around!
 Yeah I’m pretty sure the designer loved her some Kendra…….NOT! I’m happy though so that’s cool!
 
Anyway I wanted to hold off on blogging until it was all finished and it is so I’m BACK!
Seriously I missed y’all! It feels so good to be typing away again!

Okay onto today’s post!
Instafriday! It’s been awhile so we have some catching up!

Did you know we went back to Arkansas for our yearly trip? Yep we did and now I’m obsessed with moving far far away up in the mountains living off the land and being a bee farmer. You can read more about my obsession HERE. :)

I also forgot to pack pants which lead to a shopping spree. I so didn’t plan that.

                    

Brady got the snip-snip and had to wear the cone of shame!

I’ve been working TONS…..which is a good thing!

Tried a Title boxing class and came home with some pretty souvenirs.
I’m a delicate flower.   

Brady killed my nutcrackers. He didn’t know about my obsession.
Once I told him he felt awful.

I finally have my furry cuddle dog! Parker loved to lie next to me but hated to be cuddled.

                   

We tried to sneak in quality time where ever we can. He’s even joined me on a few of my shoots! Just look how tied I look in the second picture. I’m in the home stretch though. Just one more week and I should be all done with work and ready to relax for the holidays!

Ninja is still just as cute as he can be! I sure love that little bun-bun!

                 

Really enjoying my ipsy bag! So glad I ditched BirchBox.

             

I’ve been spending a lot of time in here this week. Which means Brady has gone to dog daycare every day.
This leads us to the next photo………..

His 1st bad report from dog daycare. They even wrote the bad part in red.  
I never thought I would be one of “those people.” You know the ones that take their dog to daycare. Yeah well if you knew Brady and just how crazy he can be you would understand why he cannot be home when I have a studio session…..nope! So hello fellow dog daycare peeps! Can I join your super cool club?

Fall Porch Décor–Pumpkins Galore

Didn’t want to go too crazy with this year’s fall porch décor.

Nah

Last time I made my own glaze, painted pumpkins, crafted up some fall themed tea lights.

Yeah it was cute and all but it was a lot of work!

This time I just wanted to throw something together.

Here’s what I came up with………

 

 

I’m still using the same fall wreath I made a few years back. It’s been around for awhile but I love it so it gets to stay!

 

I thought I would save myself some time and just plant pumpkins instead of pansies. You don’t have to water pumpkins……well after they’re off the vine you don’t!

 

My shadow aka Brady aka The Tornado was having a hissy fit that he had to stay inside.

I didn’t  realize he was photobombing until I looked back though the pictures. Only 3 1/2 months old and already rocking the photobomb what a little genius.

 

On Friday I’m going to the World’s Longest Garage sale with my mom. In fact by the time you read this I’m probably already getting my shop on!

Y’all I can even tell you how excited I am. We’re talking miles upon miles of awesomeness! I’ll be taking pics and video so I can share. If you would like to follow along find me on Instagram. I’ll be posting throughout the day!
