Last year Kent and I decided to make our own Valentine cards and gifts for each other. We could only spend $5.00 each on supplies needed to create our gifts. Kent is already a hard guy to shop for so I had a hard time thinking of something I could make for him that he would actually like. Here’s what we came up with.
This is the card I made for him and as a gift I made a little coupon book.
Closer look at one of the coupons
He thought the coupon book was pretty funny!
He made me the coolest origami flowers……
Sorry about the blurry pic.
and the sweetest card in the world!
It was a hoot on the outside but the inside made me cry.
It was a special Valentines that I will never forget! It just goes to shows you that don’t need to spend a lot of money to create memories and have a good time.
It’s allllll about the LOVE!
I want to hear from you! What is your most special Valentine’s Day Memory? It can be something from your childhood, time spent on Valentines with someone special, or something “G” rated that you did with your honey.
Can’t wait to read your comments!
That is the neatest idea!!!
ReplyDeleteThat coupon book is such a cute idea! I haven't made my V-Day cards, yet, but I'll post pictures once they're finished.
ReplyDeleteAwww...that was sweet!

Very cute! We always really get into Valentines Day. Two years ago, I gave my boyfriend little gifts all throughout the day with clues attached and at the end of the day I surprised him with a nice dinner that we ate pic-nic style on the floor...very fun. Last year he kinda started getting into the creative thing and we both gave each other one little gift every day of Valentines week up until V-day (like those corny little store Valentines). We've been doing the same this year, my Valentines are posted on my blog. Happy Valentines Week!

I am loving the coupon book idea. I have done it in the past-but the idea for the one you showed is pure genius! Do you mind if I borrow?

Very sweet! I'm sure my hubs would balk about having to make something. :(
