Shopping for Christmas After Christmas

 

I love to hit up the stores after Christmas and stock up on cheap Christmas décor goodies for the following year.

Something else I love about shopping for Christmas decor after Christmas is that I forget what I bought. When I bring my Christmas stuff down from the attic I get so excited to see what the Christmas Décor Santa left for me.

This year he left me several boxes of these super cute birds with feathered tails! Oh Christmas Décor Santa, how I love thee!

The box says these bad boys were $6 per box but I’m certain that the Christmas Décor Santa didn’t pay full price. Oh no……he’s cheap just like me! ;o)

    I KNOW!! I did the SAME thing last night! I had forgotten about all of my after Xmas treasures!! How fun is that. The biggest thing I forgot...I bought a tree 1/2 price I totally forgot about. I wanted a tall skinny tree. To take up less room. I was about to go buy another one, when I found the one I bought last year!!! Oopsie!!

    I get much more excited about the 1/2 off deals the day after Christmas--way more than 'Black Friday'. The birds are too cute!

    I stocked up on Target decorations after Christmas last year. I still need to pull all my stuff out and decorate my tree! LOL

    You are so funny! I bought 2 huge things of ornaments last year after Christmas. When we were decorating the tree, I kept thinking I did such a nice job packing up the ornaments last year, until I remembered I never opened them. Love the green birds! :)

    I never go out for Black Friday but I sure go crazy for crazy and take the day after Christmas off so I can go shopping! I have enough wrapping paper, gift boxes and gift tags to last me until I retire and I am only 28!!! And I agree it is like seeing this stuff for the first time after it has been boxed up for 11 months :)

    Those birds are fab! Last year after xmas I apparently went into a coma like state and bought a ton of stuff, everytime I opened a box this year I found new stuff :)
