Last Friday I had a few gal pals over for a little harvest party recipe swap. We dined, chatted, and shared a some of your favorite fall recipes!
Thought you might like to see s few pictures of the table scape….oh and the MOST important part………..the food!
I folded up an old table cloth to use as a makeshift table runner. Do you remember my fall décor post? If so you may recognize the centerpiece.
The sassy tea lights I threw together last week looked great on the table and added a bit whimsy that I try to sneak in wherever I can!
I also scattered a few tea lights on the front porch and along the walkway. I loved the warm welcoming light they put off.
On to the food!
I can’t say enough about this butternut squash soup. It was awesome!!!!! I’m drooling right now just thinking about it. One of my friends whipped it up using Ina Garten’s recipe…..yum, yum, yum!
PW’s chicken spaghetti
Pumpkin cookie dip (I’ll share the recipe in a later post)
I only took a few pictures of the food but trust me it was delish!
Side Note: Marcela if you’re reading this I also served a BIG salad full of veggies (which is what I mainly ate) and Kent didn’t touch anything. Just in case you were wondering. :o)
