I stopped into a thrift store on my way home last week and thought I hit the jack pot! Everything in the store was 50% off. That’s right you read right. Already cheap prices slashed in half. When I heard the announcement I knew I needed to hunt for some good finds even if they needed a little love aka spray paint! Sad thing is that I got so excited when I heard 50% off that I missed the part that excluded green tag items. Needless to say everything I bought was a green tag item. They tricked me because they wrote the price on the item with a white wax pen. Either way I still found some great finds and wanted to share.
Be sure to check out Rhoda’s page to see more treasures from the weekend !
I love this print. It was a thrift store find and now lives, as is in our bathroom. I paid $3.99
This cute little lamp cost me $4.99. It was in great shape, just needed a little spot cleaning on the lamp shade. I put it on the counter in our guest bathroom.
I love the shape of this tray. I splurged a little on this one ($4.99 or was it $5.99). It was a thrift store find as well. Not too sure what I’m going to do to this one yet but know that I need to think of something good.
This was a G.W. find and my 1st chalk board/tray make over. I placed it our guest room to welcome our 4th of July out-of-towners.
Thanks for visiting my blog.
ReplyDeleteI love the print and lamp, great buys for those two items.
Hope you are having a great week.
Hi Kendra,
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your latest fun finds! Pity about green tags being excluded -- don't you hate it when stores "get you" with the fine print?
Glad you stopped by and commented on my lamp post. I agree -- the old shade is interesting (I guess that's why I haven't been able to bring myself to toss it).
Hope your day goes well.

Very thrifty of you and so cool. I love your first blackboard makeover. Great job.
ReplyDeleteFound you through Rhoda's blog. I love your finds!
ReplyDeleteKendra! You're so cute with your thrifty finds! I love them! Want to help me finish decorating a nursery?!?!?!
ReplyDeleteLove your revamped tray and your lamp -- they're adorable!
ReplyDeleteYOU got some great finds!!! I love the new tray and if it cleans up nicely, I may leave it like it is. Great shape. Your new chalkboard is Fab too! I Just did one the other night in that SAME shape. And LOVE LOVE LOVE your ottoman!!! Would look great in my house! :)
ReplyDeleteWith all the thrifting I do, I've only been able to get the 50% off once! Usually what I want is the right color ticket! Great finds - I especially like the urn picture.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if ferns would do well outside in Texas but I imagine inside they would do just fine.

The lamp is my favorite! The other finds are fantastic too!
ReplyDeleteNice finds! I LOVE that ottoman. I will NEVER get enough damask print as long as I shall live. =)
