Twilight Themed Cupcakes

My neighbor hosted a Twilight party over the weekend! I felt like I was cheating on my new vampire obsession by going but I tucked my new books away in a quite drawer and tiptoed out of the house with these bad boys in hand. I don’t think my new vampire loves even knew I left. ;o)
Homemade red velvet cupcakes topped with homemade cream cheese frosting. Kent who is not big on sweets (thank the lord for that, otherwise I would be 50lbs heavier) LOVED them! In my world that means they were delish and they were if I do say so myself.

Get it, it’s suppose to be blood! I drizzled them with red food coloring and called it a day. These would be fun to do for a Halloween party too!

My neighbor went ALL out for the party. She had a life size cutout of Edward, Twilight posters, Twilight plates and napkins. It was too cute! I took a few pictures but I’m too lazy to go down stairs and pull them off my other camera. I know, sad, but in my defense I’ve been running around all day (I’m writing this Wed at 12am) AND I got lost in IKEA. That’s enough to make anyone tired!

  1. Cute cupcakes, but that sky in the previous post - wow! I wonder if it was the same day I took a picture of the sky for my blog. It was the one before the siler and toile post. Linda
